Over the last 15 years, fans have connected to Natalie’s relatable personality that shines through in the many facets of her career. Her performance videos mixed with her “edutainment” series, Breaking Down The Riffs®, made her a viral sensation, garnering over 30 million views on YouTube alone. Her groundbreaking and fun approach to pop technique has become a growing standard in the music industry. A highly sought-after celebrity vocal coach, Natalie has taught Katharine McPhee, Cheyenne Jackson, Connie Talbot, Catie Turner, and Kerry Ellis, broken down riffs with Tori Kelly, Ben Platt, Avery Wilson, Clark Beckham, Laura Osnes, and has sung with Jojo, Pentatonix, Todrick Hall, Liz Callaway, Shoshana Bean, Loren Allred, Gaten Matarazzo, and many more.

As music platforms and trends have evolved over the past decade, so has Natalie’s role in shaping and navigating her special niche in the musical world.

She has performed her solo shows to sold-out audiences in New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Edinburgh, Rio De Janeiro, Antwerp, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Toronto, and Hamburg.  

Her career has taken her to the UK, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Poland, and Austria, where she has led masterclasses for many Universities and Institutions, including The Institute for Vocal Advancement, The National Association of Teachers of Singing, Vocology in Practice, and Broadway Teachers Workshop.

Natalie’s voice can be heard on the soundtrack for The Greatest Showman, in which she appeared on the 90th Academy Awards in the live ensemble performance of “This Is Me.” She can also be heard on the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Dear Evan Hansen as one of the Virtual Community Voices, and on the jingles for The Incredibles 2. She made her Broadway debut understudying the Menonettes in Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott. She played Construction Worker in the Off-Broadway show Emojiland, understudied Elphaba and performed in the ensemble of the 2nd national tour of Wicked, and was a swing on the national tour of Les Miserables. Additional regional credits include Molly in Ghost and Florence in Chess. 

Her voice is featured on several musical theatre composers’ recordings including Jason Robert Brown, Scott Alan, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, Joey Contreras, Bobby Cronin, and Kooman & Dimond. 

She was an American Idol season 4 semi-finalist and has performed the National Anthem at Cowboys & Shea Stadium. Natalie received her BFA in musical theatre from Penn State University in 2007.

Hearing the iconic line, “burning through my darkest night,” Natalie’s friend casually asks “How many notes are in that riff?” In that moment, Natalie realized she had been subconsciously analyzing these types of riffs for most of her life! She developed this idea further, pioneering a breakthrough ‘pop singing for dummies’ approach...a cleverly simple system that utilizes everyday counting and lingo that rolls off the tongue.

Her method caught the attention of everyone from major pop stars and Broadway legends to classical voice teachers and hobbyists. What started as a backstage project exploded into a YouTube phenomenon, putting even the most complex riffs within reach--- and the rest is history!
